Samantha is an experienced public relations strategist who currently serves as a Vice President of Public Affairs at Left Hook.
Prior to joining Left Hook, Samantha was a Director of Public Affairs at SKDK where she led the press strategy for clients ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.
Before SKDK, Samantha was the Press Secretary for the NYC Department of Small Business Services. During her time there, she led the agency’s media response on the COVID-19 small business recovery plan, immigrant entrepreneurship, and the creation and maintenance of Black businesses in NYC. Samantha has also worked in the press department at ABC, developing media strategy for GMA Weekend, Nightline, and ABC News Digital.
A Georgia native, Samantha graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Public Relations and has a Master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University.
