Political media and strategy firm Left Hook is seeking a versatile Copywriter to join its team. Left Hook represents state, congressional, senatorial and gubernatorial democratic candidates nationwide.

This is a full time opportunity that ends after the General Election in November of 2022. Due to COVID-19, this will be a remote opportunity.

The Digital Strategist will develop, execute and analyze digital and social media initiatives across Left Hook’s portfolio, working closely with political campaigns across the country. They will be responsible for helping to create, coordinate and run digital programs across social, programmatic, YouTube, CTV/OTT, among other channels.

Required Qualifications:

+ Creative, innovative thinker

+ Passionate about liberal issues

+ Outstanding writing and editing skills

+ Political news junkie

+ Strong comedy, wit and desire to push the envelope

+ Played a key leadership role in democratic campaign as a digital director, social media manager, field organizer, political director or campaign manager

+ At least 3+ years of campaign, communication, digital, or social media experience

+ Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful campaigns

+ Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

+ Extensive social media experience and general digital strategy best practices.

+ Must have at least 2 years of experience building and running programmatic (especially Trade Desk) and/or Facebook Advertising paid marketing campaigns

+ Experience placing and managing a variety of media campaigns (display, social, video, native, etc.)

+ Experience with Google Ads, YouTube, Snapchat Ads, CTV/OTT is a plus

+ Must have strong financial & analytical foundations and ability to interpret & present large amounts of data

+ Strong knowledge of performance analytics and KPIs

+ Meticulous attention to detail

+ Collaborative and team-minded

+ Experience working in politics or a startup environment is a plus
