Niles Swinney

NILES IS DEPUTY DIGITAL DIRECTOR AT LEFT HOOK.

Niles is a digital communications expert whose work straddles creative strategy and digital media planning. He heads Left Hook’s San Francisco office.

In the last cycle, Niles led the digital program for Rep. Frank Mrvan, protecting Indiana’s “Toss Up” 1st Congressional in the costly Chicago media market. In addition, he led winning digital programs for Rep. Dina Titus’ (NV-01) reelection and a roster of 13 Illinois State Representatives that included Nabeela Syed, the first Muslim woman elected to the General Assembly.

Additionally, in 2022 Niles worked with the DCCC in MI-03, OR-06, and KS-03, the DSCC in Nevada for Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, and the Senate Majority PAC in Colorado for Sen. Michael Bennet.

Prior to joining Left Hook, Niles led digital for electoral campaigns at RALLY in 2020. In the off-cycle he worked with issue advocates focused on ending homelessness in Seattle, addressing climate change in California, and fighting for a nuclear free world. Before RALLY, Niles served as Public Affairs Officer for Affaires mondiales Canada in San Francisco, where he worked to strengthen bilateral ties through digital diplomacy communications.

Niles is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science. He is a native of Sacramento, commonly regarded as the Paris of the Central Valley.
