With his 20 years of experience in television, Lance is a freelance producer who inhabits both the political ad world and the documentary world. He’s got four election cycles under his belt to date.
As Senior Field Producer, he’s worked on more than 100 TV and digital spots for congressional, senatorial, gubernatorial and mayoral campaigns, as well as ballot initiatives.
From managing day-to-day logistics, budgets and schedules…to coordinating locations, crew members and gear, he works with the Creative Director and Partners at Left Hook to bring all the moving pieces together on set.
In addition to field producing for Left Hook, Lance writes and produces documentaries for cable network clients. The list includes: National Geographic Channel (Chicago Trauma, Inside 9/11, The Final Report), MSNBC (The Squeeze), CNBC (American Greed), History Channel (Conspiracy, Gangland), Investigation Discovery (Desperate Measures, Escaped), The Weather Channel (Battlefield Iraq, Storm Stories), and A&E (American Justice).
Appropriately enough, he earned his BA in both Communication Arts (TV-Film) and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He’s based in Chicago.
