Political media and strategy firm Left Hook is seeking a Graphic Designer (freelance) to join its Los Angeles, CA or Washington, DC offices. Left Hook represents state, congressional, senatorial and gubernatorial democratic candidates nationwide.

Are you a self-starter who just gets creative design? Do you love politics? Do you have experience creating display ads that persuade people to take action? If so, we want to meet you! Our team has spent decades turning red states blue and managing winning campaigns at every level. From civil rights to workers’ rights to reproductive rights, this work is personal to us.

The Graphic Designer (freelance) will create multi-platform advertisements campaigns for political candidates; design graphics for social and display ads; and onboard and manage assignments with freelance writers, editors and designers.

Qualifications:

+ At least 5+ years of graphic design experience

+ High level of creativity

+ Passionate about telling pictures through images

+ Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful display ads

+ Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

+ Photoshop and PowerPoint graphic design experience required
